Feeding during breeding.

How many S. Florida breeders are noticing that their adults have not gone off feed this winter? We have not had many good cold fronts and all of my animals are still eating like pigs. Actually some of my big females seem to be "binging" and would probably eat a doorknob if I tossed it in with them. My heaters are off but the weather has been so warm I am wondering how many will actually "take". I have quite a few that are breeding and have had a few glow, but they are all still feeding heavily. I have never had a winter where at least half of my animals did not go off feed and it is always before this. Anyone else ever have a "problem" like this and if you have, does it mean that fewer of them will lay?

located in the Tampa Bay area myself and am going through the same thing. I've never been so disappointed to have so many snakes stil eating.............

wish I could tell you whats gonna happen, kind of a first for me too. Mine would normally stop eating like clockwork and then things would take of themselves from there.

Interesting!! If my females go off food, they are very unlikley to go for me!! My females eat all they way through till right before ovulation!! Some go to eating bi-weekly, but the majority eat weekly!
