But it got me thinkin'. A while ago there was some buzz about eventually replacing all incandesant bulbs with those curly que floresents, in the name of saving energy. How will this affect y'all. Just thinkin' out loud.

New technology will come out before the old incandescents are phased out. After all, many industries use lightbulbs to produce heat energy and I don't forsee them being thrown to the curb. Not to mention the cost associated with upgrading to other heat producing equipment.

I'll be stocking up and waiting for an earthquake to dump all those freaks into the Pacific ocean haha. Actually I really don't get the logic behind all those gorelings they run around scream about how bad mercury is out of one side of their mouth and tell me I should stick those mercury filled bulbs in my light sockets out of the other side of their mouths. All the while ignoring the fact that the real light technology of the future are led bulbs which use about 1/10 the energy of the compact florescents and last many many times longer and put out better quality light as well. Then there is the question of where the florescents are made. Is it really more eviromentally friendly to use those bulbs when they are made in some coal-fire powered light bulb plant in china(a move that has reduced the life span of compact florescents according to an article in "Backwoods Home Magazine" Perhaps if these freaks would stop worrying about cow farts and eat some meat their brains would work better and they would come up with such stupid ideas. In the mean time I'll stock up and hope for that earthquake or a good Tsunami.

Thanks for mass-lumping myself and other veggie-eaters in with the panic-and-bulb-mongers.

You butt.

:]

Kidding, of course, though I am a vegetarian like so many of the "Gorelings". Hahaha.
