Chucks in Tempe?

kaisar sose Feb 11, 2008 04:35 PM

Hi all. Your favorite lurker here. I have a conference in Tempe in mid May. I would rather watch the critters than listen to someone drone on about the wonders and magic of the insurance industry. Any chance that I will run across anything?

Also, off topic. Do Nick & Austin of Granite Chuckwallas still post here? I was hoping to e-mail them a question.

Thanks in advance.

John Nicholson

Right in chuck country. Get one of those road atlases and drive to the nearest range. Perfect time of year too.

If you have a few hours to kill, head over to South Mountain Park in / south of Phoenix. Chuckwallas are protected there, but they are pretty abundant if you just want to look.
