yea all depends what its made of my 4x2x2 is 50 lbs empty

my PVC 4x2x2.5 weighs 39 lbs empty. what is your concern(if any)?

it made out of melamine the reason why i'm askin i'm tryin to get prices from diff. carriers to ship it.

I build custom 1/8th plexiglass enclosures with calapsable sides creating a cage to be shipped 4ft x 2 ft x 6 inches at a total ship weight of aprox. 20 lb

if fully assembled it will cost quite a bit. Shipping takes in consideration weight and size.

A single sheet of 8'x4' 5/8" thick particle board (or melamine) (you can build a single 4'x2'x2' cage, though trimming or something will be needed for the front as doors) weighs about 80 pounds. Add in glass doors, or even just wood and screen or plexi-glass doors, and you are probably at 90-100 pounds.
