Just thought i'd let anyone who's interested know. I'm taking a trip to the Osa Peninsusla October 4-11th. Anyone interested in going along is welcome.
The purpose of the trip is twofold:
1) Hunting bushmasters up the Rio Nuevo
2) meeting with our guide, who is in the process of developing a program to survey Crocodylus acutus on the Osa Peninsula.
It's not a "for profit" trip. Rought costs are $700 airfare which includes basically everything from meals, lodging, taxis to airport departure tax. If SERIOUSLY interested contact me privately. I will make local arrangements within Costa Rica(hotels, in-country charter flight, etc). Most of the expenses can be paid directly once we are there.
Lodging on the Osa is a Tent-camp in the jungle. last Trip we saw over 30 C. acutus.
Matt
