new to kingsnake...keeping for years

williamtroutman Feb 13, 2008 09:12 AM

I had posted over in general snakes, and there was a request for some new pictures of my burms and african rock. I have been keeping for years, and only now have gotten around to setting up an account. So, here are some fresh pics. My bigger albino burm is about 9 ft, female. I have a 7 foot normal male. I also have a 6.5 foot albino female and an almost 10 foot african rock, male. So, hope everyone enjoys the photos. My african rock is by far the most gentle snake I own....it surprises me with all of the negativity i see directed at afrocks...he's the best. Keep in mind, the cage the burms are in in the photo, is their old cage...the new one is significantly larger

That is one gorgeous AfRock! I agree on the negativity towards AfRocks. My CBB were the most docile snakes I've ever owned....every snake has a bad day.

William,
Glad you made it over here & posted some pics.

That African Rock is a dandy. It's good to hear more positive feedback on them, too. I've not worked with any yet but if I see very many more like yours it won't be long till I do. Ha!

Your burmese pythons are nice, too. Thanks for taking the time to share your photos with us. Take yer shoes off, sit a spell.

Ya'll come back now, ya hear?

Catch ya later!

Not to believe it but I'd love to see a pic of that one also. How long is it? I think the boa that bit me a few years ago was about that heavy. It's certainly within reason.

he is about 8.5 feet...and about as thick as my girlfriends leg
