my big fat jolly

jeune18 Feb 13, 2008 09:32 AM

so jolly has spots on her chin. took her to the vet because i don't want what happened to kaiser, to happen to her. the spots are almost gone but that doesn't matter. they could come back even worse but the vet said the wounds looked superficial.

anyway, why i am writing is that when they weighed jolly she was a whopping 53 grams. the most ivan the girl ever weighed and i thought she was pudgy was 38 grams. the most walter segundo ever weighed was 40 grams. maybe i just have small lizards and jolly is the norm? she could not have been gertie and walter's baby. there must have been some left over sperm from bone crusher!

Jolly is very pretty and just a big girl. I think a range of sizes are normal. Sure better to see a collared like her rather than a skinny ill-looking one. I hope the spots are gone now and you have no more worries.

Did Midge have any eggs? I know they probably would not have been fertile, but just curious. You probably read that Walter Roswell's mom Mariah died. She had too many clutches and was prolapsing tissue out her slit. Despite vigorous veterinary care it became necrotic and she had to be put down.

yes i did hear about walter's mama. however, she would be very proud. he is so beautiful and huge. he has the longest tail ever. i keep telling him i am going to give some of it to midge.

no midge never laid eggs, at least i don't think. eggs were laid while i was in cancun but i assumed they were jolly's since she went balistic on everyone.

spots are not gone but i am going to a wedding in orlando and jolly is coming with me and has an appointment with a reptile vet on wednesday
