More Northern Pine Photos

Female Northern Pine. Just out of brumation over a week now.

And suddenly she got annoyed...typical of this girl...if you aren't handling her she'll eventually get annoyed that she's exposed and gets angry...and yes, she's got a few peices of shed under her chin...I wasn't about to reach in and pull them off!

Children, today we are going to study the internal anatomy of a pinesnakes mouth....

whoa! dripping venom! Ok ok, I know you all know better, but I liked the shot!

thanks Billy! I hope she throws another screamer high white male this year. I allowed someone the cream of the crop last year. He's one lucky man I didn't go back on my word! I wanted to keep him SO bad! Oh well, there's always this year! Hope everything is cool your way! take care buddy! Someday I'll make it out to Daytona!

great pics! they brought a smile to my face. i can't help it. for some reason i like snakes that are a little fiesty. it gives a little glimmer of hope to the fact that they aren't totally domesticated. i have a bull that would hiss so loud when i first got her that my roommate could hear her all the way on the other end of the house, when there was no other noise (tv or stereo). it was great! now, she is embarissingly tame. doesn't even coil up anymore just my opinion, but i say enjoy her "wild side" later....

Oh hey, do I ever hear exactly what your saying! I LOVE it when they have an attitude! I try NOT to handle them too much to help keep that tude alive and well. But even my tamest Pine will hiss if startled. But yeah, they do with age tend to become pretty mellow and silent!
