Breeding

Corn Aug 27, 2003 02:09 PM

Hello everyone.

I want to breed two of my corns but I have my doubts because I have no experience doing this. I need some steps to take through this whole process, from pre-hibernation feeding, to cooling down, hibernation, and eventually the eggs. I need some ideas on how to get an area of my house cool enough for a proper hibernation. Being Arizona it's hot, winters are nice here, but I'm not sure if they'll be cold enough? Any and all help will be greatfully appreciated!! Thank you!

I suggest picking up the Corn Snake Manual by Kathy Love. It is one of the best investments I made when I purchased my first corn. Everything you need to know is in that book, as far as basic care and getting started with corns. I have read it cover to cover twice, and I still go back to it every now and then to check specific things out. It will be a big help. Good Luck with your corns.

Take Sparda's advice, get that book (smile).

My Wife and I are new to Corns, we got Kathy Love's book last week. It's chock full of good information !
