Alright, I have a baby Nile and i've had him for almost a month now. and i try feeding every 2-3 days. However when i put him in his feeding tank with the crickets he just does not eat. His cage is just a 20 gallon long fish tank. he has a large water dish in the backright corner. a log onthe left in the center pushed up against the glass. his bedding is just dirt. he has a 100w bulb on the log side and at a further distance a heat lamp (it's a little chilly in my basement. he is really mellow most of the time sometimes he can be really flighty. and sometimes he can be alittle tempermental...

Any suggestions on what to do to help him would be much appreciated.

feed him ever day in his own cage , give him a bigger cage , make sure you know your temps.

if you mention actual temps , snout to vent length , humidity

whether or not its been checked for parasites, you will get a lot better advice

Put him in the freezer.

At least he'd die faster that way than the way he's going now, I.E; A slow, drawn-out wasting away in an entirely unsuitable setup.

Like DMD said, give us exact temps, total length, etc, and maybe you'll get some real answers.
