Apricot HYPO Pueblans not seen before

snakedr Feb 14, 2008 01:14 PM

Just wanted to post some pics of some of the apricot hypo Pueblans that Jeff Sellers and I have produced. Our founder stock has come from Dr Jerry Bedsole of Foley, Ala and Rob & Louise Stevens. I saw one of the hypo pueblans that Jerry produced about 15 years ago at the Dixie Reptile show. I think this may predate the stock that has been produced by Rob and also Mark Bell. I don't think there has really ever been any real ? about whether they are hybrids or not; they speak for themselves. Jeff and I went the slow way to produce apricots; after we produced our first apricot hypo male, we waited on some het for hypo apricot females to breed him to. These are a few of the offspring in the following pics. I will have more pics later. Hope you enjoy these great snakes! Tom Harbin

Hey Tom,

those are beauties. You have some really great peublans. I know you took a lot of time to produce really nice apricot hypos. Alot of apricot hypos you see out there are barely apricot but those look really nice.

Awesome.
The last snake is incredible looking.
Really something else.

Now someone needs to get lucky with a hypo halloween/oreo.

Pueblans are just great. So glad there is a neat morph to compliment them.

Thanks for the kind comments; Pueblans are the milk snake that got most of us started quite a while back. Even though they aren't the rage now, still a nice snake in their own right! Tom

It's great to see you on here buddy. I enjoyed our visit this past September and hope that you'll be down this year as well. And don't worry, if something crazy happens and forces us to move up near you, you'll be one of the first to know...LOL.
Thanks for sharing the pics of the apricots. Those pictures just don't do your animals justice!! I'll drop you an e-mail this weekend so we can keep in touch.
