Feeder Mice

trdhrdr007 Feb 14, 2008 01:57 PM

I'm not much on posting, but have been lurking here for the last couple years. I bought a pair of Thayeri last year from Mike Bodner, sorry, no pictures.

Anyway, I'm getting ready to bring my collection(3 corns, 2 thayeri) out of brumation & was working up a frozen rodent order when I found out my last supplier has disappeared. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent supplier? In the past I have run across suppliers that sent half frozen, stinking rodents in ziploc bags; I'm trying to avoid that experience if possible. Any suggestions?

My main criteria are:
1) fed a quality diet(no dog food)
2) vacuum packed
3) fully frozen

It really depends on where you live.....It is best to find a distributor close to your location......You can look on the Businesses tab above and go to "Feeder Rodents" and find many distributors........I used to use Big Cheese Rodent Factory out of Texas myself.......

Like John said find a supplier close to where you live. Shipping costs can be considerable, and even though you may pay less for the actual mice, you can end up paying more over all.

Try a few different suppliers and compare the total with shipping to see who fits your needs best.

I have found that Rodent Pro thas an excellent, quality product (if my snakes could type, they'd tell you the same).
