Couple of Montana Hogs

Rich_M Feb 14, 2008 01:58 PM

Here are some pics of several of my Montana local hogs.

Missouri River Female

Another of the same Female

This is a Cascade County Female

This last one is a 2006 Yellowstone Valley Male that hatched from parents that looked normal, no extra green. With every shed he seems to get brighter.

Thanks for Looking.

That Yellowstone male is awesome! Is he the only one that green from that clutch?

He was the only one that has shown any green at all from that clutch of eggs. I'm hoping to get a nice green female to go with him.

Hiya Rich,
Good looking Hognose, I like that green one.

I have a yellow 2007 from the Yellowstone river animals that I think you will like, but I need to get a shot of her. Maybe this weekend.

Here are two big females from the Yellowstone valley beast you own.

Here is the Powder river county female. We'll get a male for her this year, I know we will. She is much bigger then when this photo was taken, and she is looking to be a beast too. She didn't hold the light green you can see in this photo. But she is nice looking still. -Dell

Hey Del,

Nice looking hogs. Those first two do look alot like their mother. How many females do you have that are breeding size for this spring?

The Powder River area is for sure on my list for this year. Can't wait to get out in the hills again.

Keep you finger crossed for good eggs from the tri-color, she should lay any day now.

Take Care

Rich, I only keep a small group of Hognose, nothing like what you have. Just the two adult Yellowstone females will go this year. The Powder river should go next year.
Good luck on the tri eggs. Those will be neat to see.

How is that big monster eater? She is a great Hognose.
