puffy eyed veiled

qdizzle Feb 14, 2008 07:55 PM

Ive had a Veiled for about 3 years now. when i got him he had M.B.D pretty bad which was reversed with propper care. Tha past couple days it seems like hes having a build up of fluid behind th occular cavity. he doesnt have discharge and both eyes seem to be working properly.... everything ive read says edemia, and it does seem like his jowls are rather large too. HELP! what can i do to remedy this problem? I know a vet visit is probly the best bet, but thats a final resort... im a broke college kid

Some problems might be self treated, but the problem with what you have is that it's rather generic. You can see the result of a symptom, but you have no way of knowing what is causing it, or really what you are seeing. I'm afraid a vet visit is the only sensible course of action this time.

Good luck
Ian
