basking light

Right now I am using a red repti glo bulb as a basking light.Should I be usig a sun glo instead?

I don't know what a reptiglow is. A sun glow is a clear spot bulb as I remember. Regardless any non-colored spot or flood bulb that give the right temps. is fine. You also need to give him access to a UVB source.
