hi ppl

i bought a jacksons chameleon about a week ago and ever since i got him when he is relaxed he closes his right eye just the 1 and sometimes sinks it in at first i thought this was dehydration but he has drunk lots of water every morning and gets misted with water 2/4 times a day and it really worried me 2day because he was spitting his whole tounge out and trying to vomit but nothing came out but saliva(i dont know if these problems are connected)he is eating 2/3 calcium dusted crix a day my uv lamp is a exo-terra repti-glo 10.0 25w,his temps are 80 degrees in his basking spot and his humidity is on 65%

any suggestions?

Always a good idea to schedule a well pet visit when you first acquire ANY animal. Chameleons are very specialized, so be sure your vet knows how to treat. If not, he might be able to recommend a good vet that specializes in chameleons.
You just bought it a week ago, you say? Have you contacted your source for the chameleon and explained your worries? Did you acquire the chameleon from a breeder, pet store, or online somewhere? Your source might have a well animal guarantee.
Best of luck!
