Fresh Shed Black Pastel

ExecutiveReptiles Feb 15, 2008 06:59 PM

I was never to "in love" with Black Pastels, until I saw the VPI Satin Black Pastels....by far my favorite black pastels, just got her a few weeks ago, and this is her first shed with us, and we where cleaning enclosures, so I thought I would snap a couple pics and share. She was produced by Ryan Young at Inland Reptiles...Can't say thank you enough Ryan.

Comparison of her and our Albino also produced by Ryan Young. Its amazing how Albinos always seem to get so dirty...lol

We waited quite a while to find the "Right" Mojave, and settled on this one, I really liked how reduced the pattern was, almost a Brown Back Mojave...

I can tell you wait for just the right snake to buy. Selectively breeding that group should bring you some sweet babies! Congrats,

Great snakes and great pics. I tried contacting Inland Reptiles to see if they had any more black pastels, but got no response. Hopefully there will be some of that quality at the expo I'm going to in Arlington on the 23rd.
