I am looking for advice. I saw a dwarf yesterday with the last 3 scutes of the tail that were "mushy", "puss" was squeezed out between the scutes and it appeared to be moving rhostrally. It was about 18" long kept properly but rescued from a tank that was filthy. In its current tank, 20g long, 4 gal of water lots of filtration, water upper 70 to low 80. Basking spot, UV light added 1 month ago on 12 hr cycle. Eating mice and invertebrates (NO FISH). We have it on fish antibiotic with 250mg per gal of water. Any ideas??? Please call 804.717.2282.
