Can preshed cause a rainbow to open and close he mouth often and/or sit with it slightly open? He has no other sign of mouth rot and Im wondering if anyone has seen this behavior before. Here is a picture of Mojo.

Lou can you post a better pic? Very hard to tell but it looks like mild respiratory infection. Any bubbling/mucus from the mouth or nostrils?

Sometimes RI-like symptoms can develop before a shed. It has to do with the clogging of nasal paasageways due to the swelling/loosening of surface tissue. After the shed, sympoms should pass. If they don't, let us know.
