Just a pic of a greeri I produced in 2006. I think she has pretty classic color and pattern.

I should have 4 clutches of greeri this year. This cool old pair of Lemke animals will breed for the first time and they are 10 years old this year.

Shannon,....Those are some great classic looking greeri you got there buddy,..........the 5th pic down of that dark one with the well defined "diamond" pattern is friggin' mind-blowing!.....THAT

How come you didn't breed them before now?

the ten year old pair was being kept by somebody else and he wasn't interested in breeding them.I got them last spring but they weren't brumated correctly so this is there first actual brumation.I can't wait.
And yes, thatnks that dark one has diamonds down her and has a almost solid belly. She is killer and is just large enough now to breed. She is from the Philly zoo from one of there expeditions down there.Unrelated to all other greeri in the states.
Sounds like you'll have some great projects going on there, especially that screamer "diamondback" female!. Good luck with them.

She is awesome Shannon. She looks alot like the female I got from Don Wilson in 1995 but I have never got any dark phase babies out of her unless they were ones that I didn't keep and they turned dark later. It would be interesting if it was possible to dig through the zoos records to see where she came from. She does look pure greeri to me.
Yeah Shannon,.....that is one very exceptional looking greeri!
Thanks for posting those additional photos of her!

Thanks Doug, its nice to see somebody else like a not so mainstream looking animal.
Thanks Shanon
Heck, I would LOVE to own that snake! That would really be something if you can prove her pattern out genetically, which of course I'm SURE you are making a goal of trying to do.
