Has anyone had any experience with this stuff and does anyone truly experienced recommend this for a 6'x4' enclosure. I am tryin to get together the best plans for a permanent home for a single male savannah. If 4'x6' seems too small, please say something. What whould be suggested for measuring humidity? I have one of those little humidity gauges reading like just above 50 percent. I live in Texas so that 50% humidity is the natural thing around here. I haven't tampered with but will if advised to. I know this newbie stuff gets old but so far this forum is the only thing helping me. The info that I find other than this seems very wrong. People have written things like keep them dry, feed them only rodents(where savs are actually insectivores) I have also been told to ignore hisses, bites, and whips which sounds really messed up to me. Once again thanks I am aware this stuff gets old but I am dedicated to make this guys life as good as possible.

you would need a small loan for enough of that stuff and it gets way too hard, regular dirt, and sand mix work much better, its also a lot cheaper,oh and sorry for bein an A@# earlier ,bad day..hahaha

Hey man no worries I wasn't all to much of a gentleman myself. I am just glad all that didnt last too long. Great info could have been otherwise. Thanks partner, much appreciated because I would have taken out that loan.

You would need too much and cost to much.... 6' will work but if possible would strongly recommend at least 8' remember he will eventuall y get 4' long lol. Also would have to agree use dirt sand mix works great and cheap and try to make it deep enough for him to dig.
