She is 2 years old and eating small mice like they are going out of style.. but, she is really not putting on all that much size??

I really don't know all that much about Hog's.. Maybe i should be feeing her larger meals?

Mike-two things. First, are you sure it's a female-the tail taper looks a bit gradual, and males are of course MUCH smaller and grow more slowly than females. Second, juvie hogs can eat an amazing amount compared to most colubrids, and will grow slowly if fed like you would, say, a milk or corn baby.

Hey Brad, thanks for the input!

You got me nervous for a minute... But, i just popped & probed her and she is a she..

Maybe i am not feeding correctly? Would you say more frequent smaller meals or less frequent larger meals?

Mike-

For my first-year hogs, I generally give a moderate meal (large enough that you can see a slight bulge) on Monday and Thursday of every week. That's generally enough for a good growth rate.
