my picky blood finally has taken to live mice instead of live rat pups , before now i had to drive about a 100 miles every two weeks to get a live rat pup, so now he can eat every 6 days with the rest of my snakes....woohooo i know rats are preferred but i cant buy small enough rats even close to where i live at.. sooo wooohooo

Been there done, that with the long rides to get appropriate size rodents...
But do you think you'd be better off in the long run, getting your animal to eat F/T? Then the right size animal is only a few steps away in your freezer.

I buy about 3-4 months worth of f/t rats,guineas,and mice. gf doesnt like whats in the freezer, but in the end the money saved by doing it that way is way worth it.

im feeding f/t to all my snakes, the 1 blood out of the six has just until today has taken nothin but live mice, i have like 150 fozen rat fuzz and weaned rats so hopefully after a few more live he eats f/t. im just happy hes eatin somethin and i dont have to drive a 100 miles to get it..lol
