Seems to be yellowing up nicely.

good contrast coming in there. also here's a great look at the rostral, which now I can see is nearly exactly the same width as height. The snake is from an "intergrade" area, so I guess it's a Gullsnake, or Bopher snake. The range is continuous so this is one of those instances where IMO arguing subspecies is pointless. I'll just call it a Brewster county Pituophis.

lots, but no "monsters". I've seen them pushing 6 feet from this place. I'm sure I can get this one to at least 6', maybe 7', and who knows how much bigger.
