This girl is not going to stop before she is all inky black. Check her out....

Belly shot.....

Her as a baby....

One male from our F2 litter that is already on his journey of "zeroing out"....

Her dad is an 01 orange-tail DH ghost produced by Jeff Ronne.

Her mom is an 01 pet store boa(sold as Colombian) of unknown origin.

Looks like a Longi, at least colorwise, doesn't she?.....

Very much so ! kinda scary just how close it does look to a Longicauda.
Far as I understand BCL and BCI "wont/cant" mix ?

Very nice animal !

something about the hemipenis not fitting per se. Is that what you were referencing?

It does seem that whatever causes Longis to naturally get darker is happening here, similar (on a lesser extent) to what Pete's new black morphs does.

Though I did see a litter by someone this year that was supposed to be Longicauda. Didn't "look right". One parent looked Longi, the other looked Mexican. But this was a "looks" ID only. No real info on either.

Theoretically I suppose it could work with a young enough male BCL to a full grown BCI female or a grown BCL Female and BCI male. ?????

Looked like Bci to me, but with the hypermel, seemed like some longi to it too. Excellent.
