My snake Scout

pythonnewbie Aug 27, 2003 05:04 PM

Here is a picture of my snake Scout the day before her first shed. I say she b/c that's what the guy at the pet store said if she isn't a she I hope he doesn't mind. This was about two weeks after I got her and the petstore guy said she was 6 weeks old. What do you guys think? She's been a great eater and a great shedder so far. I have had her for almost a month now and I LOVE IT!

Thanks, Jessica

If you get a chance can you post a pic of her post-shed. Also, unless it is a store that specializes in reptiles, I wouldn't automatically assume they are correct about the sex of your snake. Sometimes they will tell you anything. Before I learned to probe, I used to just guess what sex they were. I swear every single snake that I named is now named the wrong sexed name. As for my ball pythons, I have a boy named Penelope and Two girls, one named Herman and one that was named Fred which we switched to Fredrica. Take care, Scott.
