ABOUT TIME!

Finally this sunglow female has ovulated. She was bred by a motley het albino male from Guy Scavone. This is our most anticipated litter of the year. Now to pace hoping for viable babies! Crossng our fingers and toes over here. Small ovulation but nonethe less one hurdle down, a few more to go.

Lol, yes, you never know with imports. Would be nice if the striated was a form of super? I remember the whole bag was sold piece by piece and since I knew who had some, I tracked one down. The rest, all the tel. numbers are disconnected or out of business. The striated was insane in person. The babies that came with it, all supposedly from same female, all were striped ALOT.

Have you seen the Super Stripe morph? Originated from a boa from the Yucatan Peninsula. Looks very similar to the Striated from Colombia. Could be the Colombian version of the same morph. The SS is recessive, some hets look dead normal, some have minimal striping. So the male you used could well have been a het, even if you don't get any aberrant babies.

The Boa List!

I looked up the super stripe boa on your boa list, striated was very very different. Im hoping its a super and I have the "het" for it, lol. Striated did not have medallions. It had connectin ones al the way down to make the 12th row of stripes on the animal. If you look closely it used to have 3 main noticeable stripes plus the main one down the back. Then 2 more faded stripes not counting the connecting medallions. Same idea but the strited was striped all over contantly.
