Photo Update...

CSRAJim Feb 19, 2008 05:12 PM

All,

While changing out water bowls of bruminating adults, I was able to get an updated photo of my DV 2005 Male...I was only able to get this one good photo before he ended the photo shoot (the other photos were blurred)...Oh well.

Sometimes they do give their humans a brief glimpse of joy...Even if it's only for a second or two.

Later,
Jim.

Aubrey,

Thanks...Hatched 08/12/05 (approximately 30 months old)...

On 09/01/07-weight = 245 grams

On 01/12/08-weight = 331 grams

Never refuses a meal and always on the move...Yes, he's one of my favorites for sure...Since he's bruminating (along with the other adults and sub-adults), I'm bummed out...Oh well.

Later,
Jim.

Just when it seemed hopeless for Arhtur and his knights, the animator suffered a fatal heart attack and the peril was no more...Minstrels and squires rejoicing...Yeaaah!!!

Jim -- beautiful ground color, plus the nicely thin black outlines on the saddles are cool. Think he'll breed this year?

Tom,

I'm going to give him the opportunity if he's "up" to it this spring...

It's been a relatively warm winter here and the temps in the brumination closet range between a low of 55 to a high of 68 so far and I don't know about what effect (if any) this variable may have on sperm production...Plus combined with age...We'll see.

He certainly meets the other two criteria of 30 plus inches and 250 plus grams...Once he started on large adult mice (every 7 days), he put on almost 90 grams in about four months!

We'll just have to see but he's going to get his chance with one of my Chris Garcia girls...Emma (1st photo) & Butterscotch (2nd photo)...Lester (3rd photo) gets first dibs at the girl that he gets along with...

Later,
Jim.

Hi Jim,

That orange '05 DV male is spectacular.

Is that other male (Lester) a Vermilya animal, as well? He has that look about him.
