I hatched this leopard a few months ago from 2 normal leopards. She was a very deep purple when she first hatched, but now she is so light. Does anyone know if she is albino?

She appears to be a tangerine. Nice looking gecko.

Looks like maybe a hypo tangerine, albinos can't produce the black pigment.

Jungle nearly super hypo tang. no albino. You sure both parents were normals? At least one would have most likely been some sort of aberrant/jungle/stripe morph-

Thanks for your reply. No not sure, I know a lot about gecko care, but nothing about morphs. Here's the parents. The father has the regen tail. I hatched the mother probably about 4 years ago, she is a nice bright yellow. Also including pic of baby day she hatched, very different from any other hatchling I've had.

Mom looks to be slightly aberrant. Hard to tell from the dad's pic. Do you have mom's baby pic- that would tell you for sure. Thats a lot of aberrant markings for those two parents, esp the tail. Is the baby available?

I unfortunately do not have a pic of mom, but she was banded and looked like all the other normal hatchlings out of a text book. Could aberrant be a recessive gene? I plan on keeping the baby, as that is the only reason I incubated eggs again. I haven't done it in years as I had a really hard time letting other babies go, I get way to attached Thanks for all your info!
