hypo sinaloan?

ameratsnake Feb 20, 2008 04:39 AM

I recently purchased a pair of sinaloan milksnakes. they where purchased separately from private breeders. the male is a late 08' and the female is an early 07'. the male was tiny when i got him and I only paid $25 for him. since his purchase he has grown alot and his colors have gotten brighter and brighter. he has lighter black bands(almost opaque) than my female and they do not continue all the way around the belly. the belly is mostly yellow. the red bands are bright glowing red and the yellows are more of a cream color. his head also has reduced black pigment. does anyone have a pic of a hypo sinaloan that i can compare him to.

Yes, there are some guys here that have some, maybe they will chime in and post a pic for you. Gerrit just posted here last night, I believe he has some as well.

I looked at gerrit's web site and my male looks almost identical to the hypo nelsons on his site but it has more yellow in his face and a lower band count. Jerry

not quite sure. it was at a local show and i only see the guy once in a great while. originaly i bought him because he told me if i purchased it he would throw in a female honduran for an additional $20. guess i just got lucky. i dont think he knew what he had, or if he even cared. he was tiny when i got him. it has been over a year now and both animals are growing like weeds! next time i go i'll ask Lee Watson i'm sure he knows who he is, the guy only sells milks.
