hello all,
i have a 4 year old female 66% het albino female that my male albino had been breeding for several months. they began on october 1st and i had seen them copulating at least 6 or 7 times if not more. i cooled them and adjusted their light to get them ready. the male is an early 05 and i know he was producing sperm because after feeding him and re-introducing him to the female i saw him produce sperm all over her back :-D. well on november 7th i caught what i thought was a ovulation, but now im wondering if it wasnt. she had a good sized bulge but now it is february 20th and still no babies. she has rejected food now since december 20th but she continues to grow in size. she has a distinct bulge about half way down her body and it continues almost to her vent. her scales are stretched and i can see the whitish-grey color in between the scales. i cant imagine she is anything but pregnant since she hasnt eaten in 2 months. when should i be expecting her to begin birthing? thank you for your time

then not much longer she prolly went into a 18 day shed cycle and then you count 105 days after that shed and that is called POS post-ovulation shed

thnaks guys....this is my first attempt breeding boas and i have read many articles and have talked to some really top notch boa breeders, but for some reason i always thoughs that the POS was the pre-ovulation and not post. i guess its just a mental block on my part. as for the pics, i will try and get some soon. i moved out of my parents house and kept the boas there. since at least 2 of my girls are pregnant, i didnt want to put them thru the stress of moving and risk loosing the babies and/or harming the females. my rents have been checking them everynite for me and i stop by a couple times a week for water changes, cage cleaning and feeding. thanks for all your help guys

If you caught the ovulation about Nov 7th. she should be due around March 10th. Usually count 123 days after Ovulation or about 105 after the POS. Sounds like a gravid female, got any pics.

March 1st??????? Hell yeah it's going down and who do you like, Hollywood or the Spider? I know Silva can't even knockout Dan in his sleep so that is out of the ? but I look very forward to Dan at 185 which is his natural weight. I love Silva also but I think he may lose the belt for the next 2-3 years but hope it is exciting nonetheless

Its going to be a good fight and of course i will be watching, i dont miss the fights. If dan can impose his will and control him on the ground i see dan hendo winning the fight.
