I'm trying to breed my ball pythons for the first time and I think that the female is gravid but I'm not sure. In december I lowered the temperature to the 70s and stopped feeding. I would out them together for a week, separate them a week or two, back and forth. Themale wass starting to look alot thinner so I warmed it back up to like 80degrees and fed both of them. That was about two or 3 weeks ago. Now the female looks fatter than normal and is shedding, but is has been a long time since her last shed, so it might not be a pre-lay shed. Should I start feeding them regularly now? Do you think that the female is gravid? If it is her pre-lay shed, when should I expect eggs? Sorry for all the question but I dont' want to mess this up.
