Just got my first clutch of retic eggs tonight. 32 eggs total and after candling it appears that 7 are infertile. Albino male to a het. albino female. I would like to thank Tim at prehistoric for all his advice and motofan for helping me out the last couple of weeks. I can't tell you how excited I was to see her wrapped around her clutch. This project has been four years long and now it comes down to the last 84 days of incubation.
congrats on the clutch! It is always exciting to see a female wrapped around a new clutch. I hate to be the bearer of bad news though, I think you are going to have more than 7 of them that are infertile/go bad on you. You have the right idea, assume they are good until proven otherwise. I have seen some of the ugliest eggs still produce nice healthy babies.
