the lump is a couple inches above the cloaca. I was handling her recently and felt vertebrae cracking. Could this have been the cause? Any ideas?

If it's a hard lump on the underside it's possible she has the same thing my blood python has on the below post. It could be a couple other things though. A vet could tell you for sure, there's no good way to diagnose it yourself. I hear minor 'cracking' noises (well, more feel than hear) with my smaller snakes sometimes and it never seems to hurt them... although I always feel bad about it.
it might be constipated,,,,im not a pro or anything but i might be right
