r u sure that was an MHD? The only people in the US that I know of that have any experience breeding these guys say they incubation times are around 6 months. 36 days is more like the incubation time for a green anole. get some pictures of the baby and we can confirm if it is an MHD. It would be very interesting if it was!

Actually it may not be that simple to ID. The hatchlings look very similar to some other agamids like the water dragon. I will agree though that the incubation time just doesn't sound right. The shortest incubation time I have recorded as 127 days which is still just short of 5 months.
Do post pics and perhaps some of the parents!

i went to my cousin's house to check them out and your right, he said mountain dragons but there green basilics LOL =D
anyway i will keep you guys posted im waiting on my female sicily
to dig her nest she's real lumpy! just the other night I caught her with King doing it in the water bowl.. lol but shes already pregnant. Any tips? im thinking of separating her with the male but she loves it there. My friend is gonna take digital pictures of each dragon ill post them soon.
Since they can lay up to 4 clutches even if you separate them once she is gravid I would remove the male to a separate enclosure in order to allow her enough resting time after she is completely done laying. I also had a female lay a fertile clutch almost a full year after the male was removed from her enclosure so I am pretty positive that they can retain sperm.
What ever you decide to do good luck with the eggs she is carrying now. We could use a few more CB babies. I have a waiting list and not nearly enough babies to fill all of the potential orders.
