Adult female Spider VS. 07' Spinner

nephrurus Feb 21, 2008 04:43 AM

It looks like I would spend about the same amount of money on either I just can't decide what the better investment is. The spider would be ready to breed but the spinner adds a new level or triple and quadruple combo possibilities. I currently have an 07' female spider I held back last year but I have no pins. It wouldn't be hard to pick one up to make my own spinners but then any new combos are pushed back another year.

I'm not decided on what to do, I'm not taking your comments as gospel but, I'd like to hear of other ways to look at it.

Thanks!

Is up to your resources and preferences. Personally I would choose the spinner hands down, I have a couple of spiders and pins already and have them designated to making other designers. As several breeders have told me, get what you like to look at.

I would take the adult female spider now - by the time that spinner gets to size you'll be able to buy an adult for a reasonable price anyway.

I'd go with the spinners. Even though it will take 2-3 years to get her ready to breed, you can make so much more with her. You don't sound like you're in a rush, so think of it this way, if you were to wait and breed her to a pastel. You could get bumble bees, lemon blasts, pins, spiders, normals and pastel spinners.
