was wondering why you dont give your tegus and monitors a chance to dig in deep? mine seem to love it. i am NOT bashing the way you keep your animals, as you OBVIOUSLY have great success with them and they are kept very well and are in great condition. was just wondering, or if you just have a box in their cage with dirt. because in your pics i see a thin thin layer of cypress mulch or aspen bedding. like i said not bashing how u keep ur animals. as they look awesome
just wondering if there was a reason, such as being able to stack cages or something like that.
I am in the process of changing an cleaning their enclosures, it seems that is always the case when Im taking pics, plus I have huge hides full of cypress, believe me, I have been keeping tegus, and other lizards for over 10 years, and I have learned, and am still learning alot; thanks for your post; Phil..
thats what i thought. i might try just a box full of dirt and see how it works. would be much easier, as it seems everytime i pass one of my monitor or tegu cages, there's water been spilled or tons of dirt thrown in it, making a mud pile
though my red tegu drinks all he can tips his water over. and will sit in the mud it makes. ill have to take a pic of it. its pretty cool looking.
Oh, I forgot, did you get her from Ron & Stella?
Greg
Thanks Greg, yes I got her from the St. Pierre,s; Phil..
