We get a lot of animals like him as c.h specials, called dark morphs, they are very variable. A very cool animal with good genetic potential.
We have a co-dom banded male that is also a dark morph and produced dark morph banded babies, so maybe this guy will be co-dom?

Why sell him if you're so certain that he IS genetic?
You've had him for a couple years or more at this point, so, why hasn't he proved out already?
He doesn't breed?
You've made normal-looking Hets?
Don't take this the wrong way...
I'm only asking what others are thinking.
I hope he DOES prove genetic.
I've enjoyed that snake since you first posted photos of him in 2004.

"Have you hugged your drummer today?" --- Me
He was captive hatched in 2004
In 2006 I bred him to 2 normal females but unfortunately the females did not produce.
In 2007 2 clutches were produced but experienced an incubator failure and the eggs died.
This year things are looking positive and I feel confident on producing several clutches that will either produce more like him or hets.
As you can see he isn’t something you can call a dark morph because he lacks black and has a green and grayish color with a faded ghostly appearance.

I agree that male is more than just a dark morph.
He would lend nicely to various combos.
Albino...
Hypo...
Clown?? hmmm
Thanks for the info and Best of Luck.
