She was at the shop for a few months. She is nippy but has gotten better. She's not happy from the car ride home to say the least, but I know the girl that handled her everyday. The snake went from being downright nippy to being able to be handled and only nipping here and there. Her feeding day has been Friday. So she gets a little nippy around Thurs. then until she gets fed.
It's funny, she's like a mini-version of many Black Rats I find here. The girl has attitude. She'll eventually tire of nipping me. But she is turning into a real cutie.
I should start posting pics of my snakes!
She's still a baby, maybe a little over a foot now. She has nice blotches, pretty eyes and enjoys long walks on the beach

I should add that I've known this snake since the shop got her. So I've been at the receiving end of her behavior and know how she has progressed. The girl that spent a lot of time with her at the shop calls her "Tex."
