From the set of posted photos from a Nitida thread awhile ago, it seems that:
1) Males more commonly lack the lower, white, side stripes. Or at least theirs are less prominent.
2) Females tend to have the side stripes more often, or they are more prominent.
3) Aberrant patterns, and side blotches, are very common. What seems to be rare are solid black bodies with a perfect, unbroken stripe.
Anyone have both sexes, or several individuals, and care to comment? What have you learned from Nitida behavior & observations?
I'm interested in both locale-unique coloration, patterns & behavior.
