My wife is making plans to take our kids to the Williamsburg, VA area this summer. Thought that while we are there I could possibly do some herping. Anyone know of any hotspots in that area?

If you find out let me know. I am only an hours drive away, and I heard from the rumor mill that the Kings in that area are gorgeous.Perhaps we can meet and reconnoiter? Spring's around the corner and I am getting itchy to get out in the field.Funny how I have lived so close to Williamsburg and yet never hunted the area at all.

Can do. lets see if we can make a nice day out of this, then in the late afternoon perhaps recount the days successes over this cold concoction of malt, hops, yeast and water that I hear is quite refreshing.

I'm 25 minutes from Williamburg. I plan to hit some of the area this spring.

Sounding like a plan. Not sure on my itinerary or even when we will be going, but would love to see the snake life. If any one goes in the spring please report the activity as I probably won't be vacationing until summer.

Give me a buzz when you go. I'd love to see the williamsburg neck of the woods.

Hey Phil, I have not found any mole kings in that area. I have not found any period. I hope to break that trend in the near future.
