Eggs with newspaper stuck to them?.....

caseywagner Feb 23, 2008 01:22 PM

I had my first clutch of the year hit the ground today! Three of them have newspaper stuck to the bottom. I incubate my eggs right on vermiculite. Will the newspaper make the eggs prone to mold? Anyone have this happen?
Thanks for any advice,
Casey

Naw, it should be fine. Just cut the eggs off of the newspaper, and leave as little as you can, and they should be just fine.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago, with no ill results.

They will be fine ,but next time I would put down alittle moss for her to lay her eggs on. Paper sticks to eggs like something fearce. Good luck with the eggs.
