Nice snake... here is a pic for all the naysayers that claim corals won't eat pinks. Here is a pic of one literally playing tug-of-war with me for a pink!

These are some of the best up-close photos I've seen of Micrurus that show that they indeed do look like elapids. That ridiculously bright band tends to obscure the bulge of the venom glands and detract from the preocular ridges. Phenomenal snake, regardless. Best of luck with her! I hope she thrives for you. Maybe chat with Bob about how he got his coral onto pinks.

Here’s a close up of that pretty face. Without any size perspective you can see the head shape is indeed quite typical of an elapid. My camera has a macro that I have yet to figure out, so if this snake behaved like a typical elapid I’d be dead by now…
