Exciting Projects For 2008

fgs Feb 24, 2008 01:13 AM

I could not be more excited about this year's boa projects.

First photo is of a EBV Red Group bred to an albino motley. I can't wait to see how these motleys look. My hope with this project is to bring some color to future albino motleys.

Second Photo is of the lavender sunglow. She bred with a very nice double het sunglow. I will be holding back some of these babies for sure hoping to eventually produce more lavenders.

Third photo is of a female motley het albino. She was bred to a double het sunlgow. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed on this one with hopes of producing a motley sunglow.

All of these ladies have gone through their POS.

I never knew being a snake breeder would cause so many sleepless nights.

Thanks to so many of you for your support and generosity during this journey.

I wish you all the best of seasons.

It looks like you may produce some really nice animals this year. I think you will be very happy with the EBVx Motley combination. I know you are doing this for better albino Motleys but I think you will be pleased to see how good these Motleys are going to look on their own. Best of luck with all of your litters.

everyone looks great! did you have trouble deciding weather to make sunglow motleys or albino super motleys with that one girl?Sunglow motleys are screamin but you would have been twice as likely to hit on albino super motleys. I would pull my hair out trying to decide! Good luck getting sleep, i'll have my fingers crossed for that sunglow motley

... understand why you didn't breed your albino motley male to either the beautiful lavender sunglow female or female motley het albino or both? I guess he didn't like those girls? Good luck with those big girls.

My first choice was to breed the albino motley to the motley het albino, but after two weeks he had not given her the time of day. I then tried him with the lavender sunglow, but he showed no interest with her either.

The truth is that the albino motley showed no interest with any other female until I put him in with the EBV. It was either get babies out of that breeding or wait until next year.

In 2009 I hope the albino motley will breed with the motley het albino, but I only time will tell.
