Big snake ban

cdeer Feb 24, 2008 09:39 AM

I posted a comment on the regulations website concerning the ban of boas ,pythons etc...
I was extremely disappointed in the number of comments on the website that have been posted. Please take 2 minutes and fill out the form. I'm sure many have written letters. Let's make our voices public!http://www.regulations.gov/fdmspublic/component/main?main=SubmitComment&o=09000064803a565f

cdeer,

PIJAC and others have asked that we wait until towards the end of the comment period to make our comments. This way those that support this ban will not have the ammunition to counter what we say because they won't know.

That is correct.
When I wrote TP&W with my objections to the Turtle Ban, they had practically justified their whole case with conjecture and contrived goofy science replies to my concerns. There was no chance for rebuttal. It's not a courtroom. The process doesn't rely on or require facts.
