PLEASE HELP!

We have a female blood a few yrs old that is very sweet. We came home today and she was drinking water and I noticed bubbles coming out of her mouth. I opened the door and she struck at me - she has NEVER done that for any reason so I knew something was wrong. Now we notice drops of blood coming out of her mouth. We managed to get her mouth open and wipe it somewhat, hard to tell the exact spot where it is coming from. It is a Sunday night and the vet is closed, what would you do???? We think it could be possibly from the bark that is in her cage, she is very upset. We will take her to the vet in the morning, what can we do in the meantime to keep her comfortable? Thank you all so much!

I know its prob late but my blood pythins have had issues with getting substrate impacted in there gums. Especially if its something like the compressed coco blocks. Mine would get bloody gums and I would have to clean out theyre mouth and let them bleed out the infection there self. Its happen twice to me and theyre both fine now.

I know newspaper or paper substrate doesn't look good But it has been the easiest to work with and well the way a blood defacates it's definetly an easy clean up. I only use wood or sand in a few lizard enclosures but all snakes on paper. Just my thoughts many thanks.
