Piebald Boa?

dude21361 Feb 24, 2008 07:45 PM

Has a piebald boa ever been produced? I have never seen one or even heard of it. I have been into balls for a while and pieds are my fave, so since I was on the verge on purchasing my first boa, I was wondering if I could get a pied boa. If they dont exist are they even possible? Would be an amazing looking animal.

I'm sure its possible, but as far as I know there isn't one. Would be a cool boa.

From what I heard, from a very good source, was that these were a complete hoax.

There is a calico/ pied rainbow boa i remember seeing in the Designer Morphs book. I don't know if its a copyright thing if I try to post a picture of it.

I believe the Calico BRB from designer morphs was the one that Brian Sharp had. If so then it is now in Dave Collings hands over at RainbowsRus. He is trying to prove it out but I think this year will be his first clutches from the Calico male.

He also has pictures of "Fluffy" on his web sites gallery. You can access it through the sponsoring sites links on the rainbow boa forum. The pic's from the book I'm sure are copyrighted but Dave is a photo maniac so I'm sure if you ask him he would prollyt post some himself.

Sean.

from what i know there are a lot of calicos but as far as i know they have never bred true and because you breed one to a normal doesnt make the offspring het. until the trait is proven out. If there were a calico that were proven recessive wouldnt we know about it if it were at all public knowledge? Love to see a pied boa though!
