How big was your spider girl and has she bred before. I have a spider thats 1400-1500g's and has been bred to a pastel and a mojo. How nice would it be to get bees and mojo spiders in the same clutch! Congrats man they look great!! Post pics when they leave the egg. Very worthy of bragging!!

'never gets old with the bees'....

That is so absolutely true.
We have a over a hundred Designer Combos at this point, and still one of the first, Bumbles, remains in my 'Top 5 List'.

Congrats on those great odds.

Please let us see those pippers when they leave the egg.

Your Spider has some nice contrasting 'side spots' to her pattern.
It'd be nice to see those passed onto some 'busy' Bees.

have you bred that spider before? was wondering if its Dom instead of Co Dom.just a thought?

spider916 Feb 26, 2008 02:31 PM

that was her first clutch of eggs. it has been a good clutch from the begining. now that all the babies have come out i can see that mom did pass on her patern. i will have to breed a little mor to see if it is a genetic thing or not. it was also nice to see a reduced pattern show up in some of the babies. i dont know if the reduced patteren will be genetic or not. only time will tell. i will post some pics of the babies this evening. i ended up with 0.2 spider and 2.0 bumblebee. both bees are beautiful and will stay here to breed for me. the spiders i havent decided because they have the reduced pattern going on.
