I have to ask the question....huh?

adamjeffery Feb 25, 2008 07:29 PM

scleless is as name implies its a snake that was born without scales just skin. sometimes they are born with some scales and others with out any at all but both are considered scaleless. its not a common issue but i have seen - gophersnakes, texas rats, corns, water snakes, an albino rattlesnake, garter snake and of course a ball python(balls have it all...lol)
do a google search and you can find a few pics.

Wow! That looks awesome! Is the care any different for them since they don't have scales?

Hmmm...they sure are odd...like a car wreck...you can't look away...makes me think of the Mexican hairless dogs (not sure of the actual name of these dogs..but definitely in the same odd category.lol).
