Hypo BRB (Own Line)

BreckoReptiles Feb 26, 2008 03:13 AM

New line of Brazilian Rainbow Boa's. Our female gave birth to a few of these beauties, which are much lighter then their clutch mates. The couple who produced them was collected from the wild as young adults in the mid 90's and appear to have an interesting genetic background. The fact that most of the offspring exhibit full lateral circles instead of the regular crescent markings makes them even more appealing.

Thanks,
Jonathan & Marc Brecko

Wow. It will be interesting to see how this one proves out. Beautiful, unique looking BRB!!

I really like that snake. It is not exactly like any other BRBs out there. It sort of looks hypo but not like the proven hypo line. It sort of looks like Dave's Pearl animals but not quite the same. The big challenge for you is find out if it is a heritable trait.
Good luck,
Jeff

I cannot tell as to the color of the animal,
But I think it looks similar to this unproven probable hypo...
Hope I can get the photo loaded...

Best of luck with this one....

That's a stunning animal. They indeed look quite similar, although the black on the lateral markings on your animal appear to be thicker. But mine are still young and who knows how they will turn out? The pictures will have to wait a while, they all are into shed right now.
Best of luck with your projects,
